Just attended a local film festival screening of independent movies. The diverse range of stories, from heart - wrenching dramas to thought - provoking documentaries, was a refreshing change from mainstream cinema. It was inspiring to see the creativity and passion of independent filmmakers brought to life on the big screen.
Had an interesting day at a local food market, taking a cooking class on making artisanal bread. Learning the techniques of kneading, proofing, and baking bread from scratch was a rewarding experience. The smell of freshly baked bread was divine.
