Just finished a DIY project of making a wooden box for storing my vinyl records. Sanding the wood to a smooth finish, staining it to enhance the natural grain, and adding a lid and handles was a satisfying process. Now my vinyl records are safely stored in a beautiful, handmade box.
Had an exciting day at a local food market, taking a class on making homemade pasta. From kneading the dough to rolling it out and cutting it into different shapes, it was a hands - on and delicious experience. The fresh, homemade pasta tasted so much better than the store - bought variety.
Spent the evening at a local park, joining a group meditation session centered around self - acceptance. The session involved guided visualizations, breathing exercises, and sharing moments of self - reflection. It was a powerful experience that helped me let go of self - criticism and embrace myself, flaws and all. The park's peaceful setting added to the overall sense of tranquility.
